O'Sullivan pitched pretty well this season considering the difficulty the California League imposes on young pitchers. His pure stuff is not overwhelming, an 88-91 MPH fastball, an average curve, change and slider, but his command of the pitches makes him successful. O'Sullivan pitches very well to all quadrants of the strike zone and sets up hitters effectively. O'Sullivan has a thick frame that has likely maxed out and won't develop more velocity. I think his stuff would play much better if he was a left-handed pitcher as velocity is not quite the pre-requisite that it is with RHP. However, he does have enough polish to his game to be an end of the rotation starter who can durably eat innings at the major league level.
